Regional leaders expected at Mohamed Ould Ghazouani's inauguration

The Mauritanian president's re-election will be celebrated with great pomp on 1 August, with the Moroccan prime minister and around ten African heads of state in attendance. The swearing in takes place against a backdrop of calls for protests against the election result and a retaliatory 22-day-long Internet blackout.
