Moscow prepares its return to Khartoum, following in Egypt's tracks
The Russian defence ministry's International Cooperation Directorate is preparing a trip to Sudan in a bid to renew ties with Khartoum despite its relative isolation on the international scene. Regardless of the military takeover, Moscow is still hoping to establish a naval base in the Red Sea.
