Companies offer free clean-up of trash-strewn Luanda to win back cancelled contracts
Rubbish is piling up on the streets of the capital after cash-strapped city authorities abruptly cancelled waste-management contracts last year. In the hope of winning new ones now that João Lourenço has mobilised funds, some firms have offered their services at no cost.
