Nasarawa State governor promotes his security record to attract mining companies
The state of Nasarawa, Nigeria's largest source of mineral resources, is trying to counter media coverage of violence in northern Nigeria by drawing attention to the reforms it has made to protect against it. It hopes in this way to attract foreign investment to the state.
