Generational succession at Rubis could take it out of Africa
The petroleum products trading and distribution company Rubis is gearing up for the succession of its co-founders, Gilles Gobin and Jacques Riou, as their children, including Clarisse Gobin Swiecznik, enter the scene. However, the transfer of power is taking place at the same time as a strategic reorganisation and a move into development in hydrogen and photovoltaic energy, in which the African subsidiaries, until now the driving force of the group, have been barely included.
