Houphouet-Boigny's jeweller to relaunch diamonds by year-end
After a hiatus of more than 45 years, semi-industrial diamond production in Ivory Coast is due to resume at the end of the year with Transactysglasol, a company founded by Christian Abadie, jeweller to the country's first president and now headed by Nicolas de Lesguern, operator of gold mines in Burkina Faso.
